After graduating with distinction from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in Italy, Marco moved to UK in 2011 where he gained an extensive curriculum of experience working for both the NHS and private physiotherapy sector. Over the years, Marco has worked within a range of different rehabilitation settings, which is where he gets his skill in delivering tailored rehabilitation programming to those with injury and those looking to optimise sports performance. Due to his deep interest in sports performance, Marco also went on to qualify as a BTEC Sport Massage Therapist which further extended his knowledge within the sports field.
Marco took up a new challenge in 2013 by joining the University College of Osteopathy to complete a MoSt Degree in Osteopathy. He is now a Chartered Osteopath and applies this knowledge to ensure his patients get the most thorough treatment.
Marco has always been moved by his passion for the human body, and how the human body can marvellously adapt to cope with all sorts of environmental challenges; presenting with injury as the last resort. He broadly integrates the biopsychosocial model into his day to day practice whilst considering not only the clients presenting symptoms, but instead the body as a whole, integrating psychological and social factors as an important part of the recovery and rehabilitation processes.
